SWOT, which stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, is an analytical framework that can help a company face its greatest challenges and find its most promising new markets. To examine the potential for a new business or product, we use SWOT analysis to determine the likely risks and rewards. 

STRENGTHS
  • Innovative, natural and healthy - Llao Llao yogurt is a basic, natural product filled with goodness - Extremely healthy, high nutritional value with fun crunchy toppings & sauces to make it taste good at the same time! About 100 calories for 100gm - They used skimmed milk & toppings vary from fresh seasonal fruits to cereal, thus making it healthy

  • Wide range of toppings, fruits and sauces to choose from. This creates a new concept that goes far beyond the term ‘dessert’, making it part of our diet.

  • Strong brand presence and awareness in Singapore

  • Young, fun and clean image

  • Strong customer loyalty - Word of mouth and social media advertising

  • Have shown strong success in Asia - Singapore & China

OPPORTUNITIES
WEAKNESS
  • Minimal traditional advertising

THREATS
  • Intensifying competition within the lucrative market - e.g. New entrants such as Honey Creme in Singapore and Yooglers' plans to expand their presence globally

  • Rising health consciousness 

  • Strong potential in the Froyo sector

  • Potential to expand - a lot of untapped markets (e.g. Malaysia)
